The Aranjuez City Council has approved the reurbanization project for Calle Trinquete, with an investment of 127,816.91 euros, to improve mobility and accessibility.

The Aranjuez City Council has given the green light to the reurbanization project for Calle Trinquete. This initiative, part of the Regional Investment Program (PIR) 2022-2026 of the Community of Madrid, aims to enable two-way traffic between the southern roundabout, Glorieta de las Víctimas de Aranjuez en el 2 de Mayo, and Calle de la Reina.
The project includes various actions on the roadway and sidewalks, such as improving surface drainage, expanding public lighting, adapting signage, and adecuating access points, with a focus on maintaining and protecting existing trees.
The new road configuration is intended to reduce travel times, enhance accessibility, and improve the connection with the Agfa neighborhood, facilitating resident movement and access for public and emergency services.
The planned investment for this work amounts to 127,816.91 euros, with 95% funding from the Regional Investment Program. Construction is scheduled to begin after the summer, with an estimated execution period of three months.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by the Aranjuez City Council to improve municipal infrastructure and modernize public spaces, aiming to provide higher quality services, more efficient mobility, and better connections between the different neighborhoods of the city.
