Two accidents complicate access to Madrid via A-4 and A-1

Incidents in Aranjuez and Sieteiglesias cause kilometer-long traffic jams on the main routes into the capital.

Two traffic accidents recorded this Sunday have caused significant traffic jams and lane closures on the main access routes to Madrid, the A-4 near Aranjuez and the A-1 in Sieteiglesias.

The General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) has reported traffic complications at both locations. On the A-4, near Aranjuez, an incident at kilometer 51 led to the closure of the left lane, resulting in up to three kilometers of congestion.
Meanwhile, on the A-1, an accident in Sieteiglesias at kilometer 73 has caused two kilometers of slow-moving traffic.
Information regarding these incidents was provided by the DGT around 4:45 PM.
