The VOX spokesperson in the Madrid Assembly has expressed little concern regarding the announcement by Health Minister, Mónica García, to run as a candidate in the 2027 regional elections.

From Puente de Vallecas, the VOX representative labeled the minister a "failed leader" and questioned her performance at the head of the Ministry of Health. According to the spokesperson, the minister's tenure is marked by a doctors' strike that, at the time of the announcement, was entering its third week, stemming from negotiations for its own Framework Statute.

"The truth is, I'm not very concerned."

The spokesperson reiterated her lack of concern, asserting that the minister will leave office "with a failure of all her policies".
The Health Minister's announcement took place on Saturday, confirming her intention to lead her party's candidacy in the 2027 regional elections, with the goal of succeeding the current regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
