Energy efficiency has become a key aspect in the design and renovation of large buildings. Facilities such as hotels, hospitals, office buildings, shopping centers, or industrial warehouses require systems capable of offering high performance with reduced energy consumption and lower environmental impact.
In this context, industrial aerothermal systems and geothermal energy for large projects are positioned as two of the most efficient sustainable climate control solutions on the market. At ACECO Spain, we develop and implement these technologies to help companies, engineering firms, and developers create more efficient, comfortable buildings prepared for future energy challenges.
What is sustainable climate control?
Sustainable climate control consists of designing systems capable of providing heating, cooling, and domestic hot water (DHW) with the lowest possible energy consumption and reduced environmental impact.Its objective is not only to save energy but to achieve more efficient, comfortable buildings prepared to meet current and future energy efficiency requirements.
A sustainable climate control system must offer:
- High efficiency throughout the year.
Energy Saving Certificates (CAE), an opportunity to monetize energy efficiency
Energy Saving Certificates (CAE) allow the savings achieved through an energy efficiency measure to be converted into economic value. Each CAE certifies a saving of 1 kWh of final energy after the implementation and verification of the measure.In this way, improving the efficiency of a facility not only reduces its energy consumption and operating costs but also allows for the recovery of part of the investment made through the monetization of the generated savings.
CAEs allow:
- valuing the energy savings achieved;
- reducing the effective cost of an investment;
- improving the profitability of energy efficiency projects;
- accelerating the renovation of facilities;
- promoting more efficient energy solutions.
For aerothermal and geothermal projects, CAEs can be particularly interesting when the measure involves the replacement or improvement of existing systems and generates final energy savings eligible for certification. Therefore, evaluating the CAE generation potential from the outset can become another factor to consider when studying the economic viability of an installation.
The Spanish CAE system has been regulated since 2023 and includes both standardized measures listed in the official catalog and unique measures for projects requiring specific savings calculations.
Aceco Spain Solutions for Sustainable Climate Control
Delta: High-performance geothermal for demanding projects
When the goal is to achieve maximum long-term energy efficiency, ACECO Spain's Delta represents one of the most advanced geothermal solutions. This heat pump utilizes the constant temperature of the subsoil to provide heating, cooling, and domestic hot water with very stable performance throughout the year.
By not depending directly on the outside temperature, geothermal maintains constant efficiency in both winter and summer, making it particularly recommended for buildings with intensive and continuous use.
Advantages of the Delta
- Available powers from 12, 15, 20, 24, 30, 36, 40, 45, 48, 60, 75, 90, 120, 150, and 180 kW, in addition to Delta SP versions of 9, 15, 18, and 21 kW.
The Delta is an ideal solution for projects seeking to minimize energy consumption, reduce operating costs, and decrease CO₂ emissions without compromising thermal comfort.
Lambda: Industrial aerothermal for large areas
The Lambda is ACECO Spain's industrial aerothermal heat pump, developed to meet the high thermal demands of large buildings. Thanks to its EVI technology, it can operate with outside temperatures as low as -15 °C, maintaining high performance even in demanding climatic conditions.
Available in powers from 50 to 150 kW, the Lambda is an ideal solution for hotels, hospitals, office buildings, logistics centers, shopping centers, or sports facilities, where energy efficiency and service continuity are key factors.
Why choose the Lambda?
- Heating powers of 45, 50, 60, 65, 68, 75, 90, 100, 120, 130, 140, 150, and 180 kW.
Its high capacity allows for climate control of large spaces with reduced energy consumption, making it an excellent alternative to traditional fossil fuel-based systems.
Aceco Spain: Comprehensive Solutions for Sustainable Climate Control
At ACECO Spain, we work to facilitate the implementation of sustainable climate control systems in both residential and commercial and industrial projects.
Our experience allows us to offer solutions tailored to the needs of each installation through:
- High-efficiency aerothermal equipment.
Furthermore, Aceco is the only manufacturer in Spain with its own drilling rig for geothermal installations, designed to operate even in confined spaces, facilitating the execution of complex projects with less impact on the construction site.
