The Community of Madrid has launched a new aid program for non-profit organizations promoting bullfighting, offering subsidies of up to 3,000 euros per beneficiary with advance payment.

This initiative, published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid (BOCM), aims to support cultural, educational, and training projects related to the bullfighting world. Eligible activities range from bull runs (capeas) and visits to bull ranches to the publication of books, magazines, or digital content.
One of the most notable features is the payment system. Aid will be disbursed in advance, meaning organizations will receive the full amount before justifying expenses and without the need for guarantees. This change seeks to simplify project initiation and remove administrative hurdles.

"The regional executive considers bullfighting a cultural manifestation and has expanded the catalog of eligible activities compared to previous calls."

The range of activities that can receive funding is broad, including conferences, exhibitions, and Internet campaigns, in addition to traditional initiatives. The number and type of activities presented will be evaluated, with a special emphasis on cultural and dissemination initiatives, as well as conferences, round tables, and other promotional events.
Activities must be carried out during the calendar year of the call, although expense justification can be submitted until the end of February of the following year, providing entities with ample time. Direct expenses related to the activity, such as event organization, subsistence, accommodation, and travel for speakers, as well as advertising and dissemination actions, will be covered by the subsidy.
