The Community of Madrid has opened registration for a free September workshop focused on emotion management and self-care, aimed at caregivers and families.

The Community of Madrid, through the School of Long-Term Care for the Elderly, has opened registration for the workshop "Keys to Emotion Management and Self-Care". This training, to be held in September, aims to provide practical tools to improve the well-being of caregivers and families of individuals with neurodegenerative diseases.
The course, organized in collaboration with the Reina Sofía Alzheimer Center Foundation, will address the physical and psychological overload experienced by caregivers. Strategies will be offered to identify, understand, and regulate emotions, as well as to incorporate self-care habits that prevent emotional and physical exhaustion. Registration is open until September 13, and a minimum of ten participants are required for the course to proceed.
Specific objectives of the workshop include fostering positive emotional communication, developing strategies for conflict resolution, and learning relaxation and mindfulness techniques. The methodology will be theoretical-practical, encouraging participant involvement with everyday situation examples.
The training is aimed at both family members and informal caregivers as well as professionals in the field of neurodegenerative diseases. Participants will receive the presentation used in the training and bibliographic references.
