The popular race, which wound through the streets of the capital's center, offered three modalities: marathon (42 kilometers), half marathon (21 kilometers), and a 10-kilometer race. The start was given by the delegate councilor for Sport, who emphasized the event's significance for the city.
“"The Zurich Rock ’n’ Roll Running Series is not just a sporting event; it's a city celebration. It perfectly represents the sports model we envision for Madrid: inclusive, international, and open to all levels."
The municipal official also underscored that Madrid has established itself as a global reference in the running world. This is evidenced by the participation of over 47,000 runners from more than 100 countries, demonstrating that “sport is lived on the streets” in the capital.
In this year's edition, over 10,000 foreign runners, from more than 110 countries, helped reinforce the event's international profile. Additionally, a quarter of the total participants came from other regions of Spain, solidifying the diversity and reach of the sporting event.
