Victoria García, the current councilor and co-spokesperson for Más Madrid in the Leganés City Council, will head the party's candidacy for the 2027 municipal elections.

This decision follows the withdrawal of the current Group spokesperson, Carlos Poblete, from presenting a list for the elections. García's candidacy emerges from the party's internal dynamics, supported by the majority of the Más Madrid Leganés Assembly.
The electoral proposal will focus on "affordable housing for those who wish to continue living in their city, well-cared-for and maintained neighborhoods," "public services that truly function," and "politics that returns to the citizens."
The members of the candidacy, described as a "broad and diverse progressive evolution," include Pilar Ramírez, with a background in the city's social and associative fabric; Javier Carrillo, with experience in public service; Beatriz Melero, a defender of public education; and Rubén Mateos, committed to "those most in need."
The team comprises trade unionists, lawyers, individuals with legal and financial training, LGBTQI+ activists, public education advocates, feminist militants, and voices from the migrant community.
Candidacy members state that "it is a broader list that will continue to add profiles," as they believe that "governing Leganés competently requires knowing it from within and from all its neighborhoods."
In this new phase, they aim to give greater prominence to the Assembly, defining it as "a real space for decision-making and proposal development for the city, where every person who is part of Más Madrid Leganés has a voice in what we build together."
