A 15-year-old teenager was stabbed last Wednesday afternoon in Aranjuez by another minor, aged 14, while training with his cadet team, in an incident currently under Police investigation.

The incident occurred at the ‘Enrique Moreno, Lalo’ fields in Aranjuez. According to reports from El Mundo, the victim, a goalkeeper for Real Aranjuez, managed to put his hands up to prevent a stab wound to the neck, resulting in a deep injury to one of them.
The knife pierced his hand, affecting several tendons. The young man was urgently transferred to Hospital 12 de Octubre by SUMMA 112, where he underwent emergency surgery. The Police have launched an investigation to clarify the details of the assault, which is considered unusual for this area of Aranjuez.
Initial inquiries suggest that both the victim and the assailant attend the same high school and that the attack may stem from previous disputes. The football club to which the victim belongs has emphasized that the incident is unrelated to the sport.
The attack took place when the goalkeeper went to the changing room for water. The other minor was waiting there, inflicted several stab wounds, and then fled. Following an extensive search operation, the Local Police located and arrested the assailant near the Cercanías station.

Real Aranjuez has sought to disassociate the incident from the sporting environment, emphasizing that the detainee does not belong to any club and that those involved knew each other outside of football.
