The new building, located at 12 Paulo Freire Street, stands on a 2,000 square meter plot of land ceded by the Fuenlabrada City Council. These facilities replace the previous ones, which were located in the La Serna civic center, now offering a more suitable environment for the organization's activities.
This expansion will allow Cruz Roja Fuenlabrada to optimize and expand the services it offers to the community. Among the most notable improvements is a specific area for the emergency ambulance, as well as a more efficient organization of programs. These programs focus on promoting healthy lifestyles, educational support for young people, and assistance for the elderly and families.
For decades, the Red Cross has played a fundamental role in the city of Fuenlabrada through numerous social initiatives. Its work ranges from workshops and campaigns aimed at the population in areas such as education, consumption, legal advice, and health, to health coverage at events, international cooperation actions, volunteer programs, and training.
In summary, the opening of this new headquarters represents a significant boost for the Red Cross to continue developing its important work in Fuenlabrada, with greater resources and improved capacity to serve all citizens.
