The Móstoles Patron Saint Festivals 2026 have concluded after eleven days of activities, music, and color, drawing a record number of over 400,000 attendees. According to data provided by the City Council, thousands of residents and visitors participated in the free events scheduled between September 4th and 15th, culminating with a concert by Chenoa.
These festivities, declared of Regional Tourist Interest, included liturgical and bullfighting events, concerts, children's and sports activities, the Day Fair, popular breakfasts, the Artisan Market, and the amusement park, in addition to the opening speech, the starting firecracker, and fireworks.
The security deployment, which involved 775 police services for 51 events, over 40 vehicles, drones, the Canine Unit, surveillance cameras, and metal detectors, ensured the safe development of the celebrations. The mayor of Móstoles, Manuel Bautista, thanked the work of the Municipal Police, National Police, Civil Guard, and Civil Protection, as well as the civility of the citizens.
The figure of over 400,000 attendees represents an absolute record for the city, surpassing the attendance of 2025 by more than 100,000 people. Parque Finca Liana was the epicenter of the crowds, hosting over 100,000 people, and the bullfighting events were at full capacity with 4,600 daily attendees.
Manuel Bautista highlighted the "extraordinary response" from the residents of Móstoles and the absence of significant incidents, attributing the success to the responsibility of the neighbors and the efforts of the festival groups, neighborhood associations, and municipal cleaning and maintenance staff.
