The Traffic Group of the Civil Guard has arrested eleven individuals, aged between 18 and 25, for their alleged involvement in illegal races and the organization of large gatherings ('kedadas') in the Community of Madrid and other provinces.

The operation, initiated after the detection of illegal races last summer, has resulted in the charges against the arrested individuals for crimes of reckless driving, document forgery, filing false reports, serious disobedience to authority figures, and membership in a criminal organization.
These gatherings, known as 'kedadas', were convened through social networks and attracted participants from various autonomous communities, primarily taking place on weekends.
The meetings were commonly held in municipalities in the south of the Community of Madrid such as Fuenlabrada, Pinto, Valdemoro, and Coslada, as well as in Madrid capital, although participants also traveled to provinces including Cuenca, Navarra, and Toledo.
Organizers took measures to conceal their identities, such as using balaclavas and tampering with license plates, and had protocols to evade the Civil Guard. The races conducted between meeting points posed a serious risk to road safety.
As part of the operation, the Civil Guard has seized four vehicles and various materials used in the 'kedadas', including flares and balaclavas.
