The Aranjuez City Council has approved the 2026 Municipal Budget, driven by VOX, which will allocate historic funds to birth rate, youth, mobility, technology, and transparency.

VOX Aranjuez has greenlit the 2026 Municipal Budget, accounts aimed at consolidating the stability of the coalition municipal government and incorporating measures to address citizens' needs. The political party highlights that these accounts represent a turning point against underinvestment in strategic areas and will allow for improvements in public services, support for families, revitalization of the local economy, and modernization of the administration.
The spokesperson for VOX, Esteban Fernández, stated that the objective is to "make Aranjuez great again" and that every euro invested comes from responsible management designed to improve the lives of residents.
In terms of youth, the budget allocation is nearly tenfold, exceeding 100,000 euros, to expand leisure, culture, and youth participation activities. For families, 300,000 euros are allocated to promote birth rates, including consumption vouchers to boost local commerce. Policies for the elderly are also strengthened.
Economically, the commitment to the agricultural sector continues. The City Council's technological transformation will receive nearly one million euros to renew IT systems, incorporate cutting-edge tools and Artificial Intelligence, aiming to reduce bureaucracy and streamline procedures. Additionally, 40,000 euros will be dedicated to cybersecurity to prevent cyberattacks.
In mobility, safety and accessibility will be improved with the renovation of the traffic light network, the replacement of roundabouts with signalized intersections, and the installation of smart pedestrian crossings. The project for the pedestrian path between Aranjuez and Ontígola will also be drafted. The Transport area will include a technical study to demand improvements in Aranjuez's urban transport.
VOX considers these accounts to reflect a management model based on efficiency and responsibility, reaffirming its commitment to residents' needs and Aranjuez's potential.
