“"We want to transform Alcorcón through an alliance with its citizens because we have a very clear premise: the future of our city is designed by all of us. We have been working for several years on the development of Alcorcón's Urban Agenda to consolidate a joint city project after a comprehensive diagnosis that has determined the strategic objectives and key transversal themes that will be defined, neighborhood by neighborhood, so that residents can contribute their proposals and ideas to boost possibilities, meet their needs, and generate initiatives to improve the area where they live and coexist."

The Alcorcón City Council has launched the 'Urban Agenda in your neighborhood' initiative, featuring information tables and neighborhood assemblies, to actively involve citizens in shaping the city's future.
The municipal initiative 'The Urban Agenda in your neighborhood' represents a significant step forward in the Alcorcón City Council's commitment to citizen participation. This program aims to integrate residents' ideas and proposals into the planning and development of the locality, fostering a collaborative urban project.
The program has already begun its implementation phase in the neighborhoods of Igueldo, Alcorcón II, and Ondarreta, where information tables have been set up to facilitate the collection of ideas. This phase will culminate in a Neighborhood Assembly, a crucial forum for the exchange of opinions and proposals among citizens.
This assembly will take place at the Salvador Allende Senior Citizens' Center on Tuesday, April 28, at 6:00 PM, and will be attended by Mayor Candelaria Testa. The mayor has extended an invitation to all residents to actively participate in these meetings, which are essential for building a solid and cohesive city project.
