The Ciempozuelos City Council has approved the budgets for 2027 in a municipal plenary session, amounting to 25,364,449 euros, a 6.8% increase from the previous year, with a focus on reinforcing aid and improving public services.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Governing Team has passed the municipal accounts for 2027. The total amount, which sums to 25,364,449 euros in expenses and income, represents an increase of 1,624,535 euros compared to the previous year. The mayor, Raquel Jimeno, highlighted that "the municipal coffers are not only sound but also managed efficiently."
The 2027 budgets maintain aid for families through scholarships for extracurricular activities, subsidies for sports clubs, businesses, and associations. The four public schools in the municipality will once again receive 15,000 euros each to allocate to their most pressing needs. As a novelty, an allocation of 1,000 euros will be provided for AMPAS (Parents' Associations). Sections such as Cleaning and Waste, and the improvement of sports facilities, will also see their budgets increased.
The accounts also consolidate annual investments with own funds, allocating almost two million euros to projects such as the rehabilitation of the Slaughterhouse, the M-404 roundabout, urban furniture, electronic administration, and the repair of the municipal indoor swimming pool.
The councilor emphasized that these budgets, "in which residents are once again at the center," are based on public spending control, efficiency in municipal management, budgetary stability, and financial sustainability. Furthermore, allocations to improve public services continue to be increased.
