This initiative aims to provide family reconciliation solutions and educational leisure for the municipality's families, with options tailored to different ages and needs. Registrations for some of these activities will begin in late April.
The urban camp, designed for children born between 2013 and 2022, will run from June 22 to September 4. Its weekly format allows families to choose the periods that best suit their schedules. The standard hours are from 9:00 to 14:00, with the option for early drop-off from 7:30 h and an extension until 16:30 h, including a dining service. The program features games, workshops, outdoor activities, and educational proposals focused on values such as companionship and environmental care.
For young people aged 14 to 17 registered in Soto del Real, a volunteering program has been organized in collaboration with the Community of Madrid. This activity will take place from July 5 to 19 and will focus on the maintenance of the local botanical garden, promoting teamwork and environmental learning. The participation fee is 110 euros, set by the Community of Madrid. The registration period for this activity is limited, from April 28 to May 7.
In addition to the municipal offerings, local clubs and associations complement the program with various proposals. The robotics camp will be held at the Cultural Center in weekly periods from June 29 to July 24, for children from 3rd grade of primary school onwards. The Soto Joven Association (Salesianos El Pilar) will organize its camp from July 1 to 14 for children from kindergarten to 2nd year of ESO. Meanwhile, the El Soto Equestrian Club will offer riding camps from June 22 to July 31 for children aged 4 and older.
“"With these camps, we offer families a quality summer alternative, betting on a model that combines family reconciliation, education in values, and healthy leisure."
