The Polish team dominated the competition, winning all five of their matches with an impressive 48 goals scored, thus securing their direct ticket to the World Cup.
Spain, as the host nation, finished in an excellent second position with a record of 3 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss, accumulating 7 points. This result keeps them in contention to qualify as the best second-placed team, awaiting the outcomes of the EUR2 group. The single-round-robin format featured six national teams.
In the final standings, France and Italy tied with 4 points, with France taking third place on goal difference. Belgium earned 3 points, and Netherlands closed the table with 2.
