The Los Molinos City Council has welcomed 11 new unemployed employees, thanks to an employment-training program funded by the Community of Madrid with an investment of 152,060 euros.

The primary objective of this program is twofold: to facilitate the job placement of individuals facing unemployment and, concurrently, to enhance the public services the council provides to its residents.
The incorporated profiles include 5 second-class multi-service officers, who will support maintenance and works tasks, including clearing and conditioning activities in various areas of the municipality. Additionally, an administrative assistant for general services, a tourism technician, an environmental technician, an archivist for the preservation of the municipal historical archive, a caretaker for cultural services, and a librarian to bolster the local library have been hired.
Throughout the eight-month contract duration, the workers will combine their professional activities with an integrated training itinerary. This will encompass 50 hours of environmental awareness and professional best practices, alongside 40 hours focused on developing personal and social skills for employment.

"We are not only expanding job opportunities for our residents but also strengthening essential areas of the City Council."

Antonio Coello · Mayor of Los Molinos
