The event, organized by the Culture Department of the Guadarrama City Council, will begin at 7:30 PM and is open to all audiences. Tickets are priced at 9 euros.
Titled Nuestro flamenco (Our Flamenco), the show promises a dynamic and energetic experience, celebrating an art form declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Accompanied by a dance troupe, the artist will perform traditional cantes such as alegrías, bulerías, and fandangos.
In addition to classical styles, the repertoire will include compositions based on poems, flamenco arrangements of coplas, and popular music versions, also exploring genres like rancheras, habaneras, and boleros.
Fernández del Moral is renowned for his achievement at the 52nd edition of the International Festival of Cante de Las Minas (La Unión), where he won five first prizes in various singing categories and was awarded the prestigious «Lámpara Minera». He was the first recipient of this award in the festival's history to achieve this recognition without a guitarist's accompaniment. In 2023, the European Guitar Foundation honored him with an award for his mastery in combining flamenco singing and guitar playing.
With a career that began in Daimiel at the age of 8, influenced by his father, a flamenco singer and enthusiast, the artist has brought his art to international stages such as the Teatro Real de Madrid, the Jerez Festival, the Barcelona International Jazz Festival, and the Granada International Guitar Festival, in addition to touring the United States, Latin America, Japan, and major European capitals.
Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Culture Department's website.
