Manzanares El Real Celebrates Multiple September Events

The town hosts the Cristo de La Nave Festivity, CervesFest, Magic Party, and a philosophy workshop.

Manzanares El Real is preparing for an intense schedule of events throughout September, including the Cristo de La Nave Festivity, CervesFest, Magic Party, and a philosophy workshop.

The town of Manzanares El Real is hosting a varied program of activities this week. Highlights include the Cristo de La Nave Festivity, the Beer Festival (CervesFest), the Magic Party for children, and the workshop «Philosophers Erased from History».
CervesFest, held with free admission, offers an opportunity to enjoy beer, gastronomy, and leisure. It will feature a selection of food trucks such as La Carroza Mágica, El Perro Salvaje, Yellow Submarine, and La Fábrica de Oro, as well as own-brand craft beers from Chula, From Lost to the River, and Cervezas Murmar, among others. The event is suitable for all ages, with children's entertainment and games scheduled for Saturday, September 12th, including a Gymkhana at 12:00 PM and Balloon Twisting on Sunday, September 13th at 12:30 PM.
The Magic Party will take place on Saturday, September 12th, at 6:00 PM in the Plaza del Pueblo, featuring a show with songs, dances, games, and face painting for children.
The Cristo de La Nave Festivity will kick off on Friday, September 11th, with inflatables in the Centro Urbano at 5:00 PM. Saturday, September 12th, will include a Petanque Tournament at 9:00 AM at the Pista de Petanca and the aforementioned MagicParty in the Plaza del Pueblo at 6:00 PM.
On Sunday, September 13th, the program continues with Itinerant Folklore at 7:00 PM in the Plaza del Pueblo. Monday, September 14th, will feature a Solemn Mass at 12:00 PM in the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, followed by a procession accompanied by the Music Band through the town's urban center. The day will include a traditional aperitif in the Plaza del Pueblo at 2:00 PM, the inauguration of the exhibition «Old Photos of Manzanares El Real» at 6:30 PM at the Valla de Prado Puente, and an afternoon gathering with a DJ and entertainment in the Plaza del Pueblo at 7:00 PM. The day will conclude with fireworks at 10:00 PM from the Castillo Viejo.
The festivities will conclude on Tuesday, September 15th, with a mass in honor of deceased siblings at 8:00 PM in the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves.
Furthermore, the municipality is resuming its philosophy workshops with the session «Philosophers Erased from History», which aims to highlight the work of women philosophers who have been historically silenced.
