Collado Mediano will host the only inland round of the 2026 National Beach Tennis Circuit, taking place from August 27 to 30.

From Thursday, August 27, to Sunday, August 30, between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM, the municipality of Collado Mediano will be the venue for a stage of the 2026 National Beach Tennis Circuit, organized by the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation. This competition is notable for being the circuit's only venue not located on the coast, unlike events held in locations such as Almería, Valencia, Castellón, Melilla, Vigo, Tarragona, Canarias, Cádiz, Alicante, Asturias, Tenerife, and Menorca. For residents of the Sierra region, it offers a unique chance to enjoy this sport without having to travel.
The event in Collado Mediano counts towards the national ranking, ensuring the participation of the circuit's top male and female players. It is not an exhibition, but a high-level competition that will test the participants' skills.
Beach tennis is experiencing significant growth in Spain, although its awareness in inland areas is still limited. The four days of the tournament provide an excellent opportunity to attend, watch the sport live, and understand its dynamics.
The tournament will take place at the Municipal Sports Center of Collado Mediano, located at Paseo de los Rosales, 65. Further information can be found on the event's official website.
