The Boadilla del Monte City Council has initiated the construction of a new surface parking lot located on Gutiérrez Soto street. This initiative aims to increase the availability of parking spaces in the area. During the construction period, the space currently used provisionally will remain closed to the public.
The main work will involve paving the surface, replacing the current dirt with asphalt to eliminate issues with puddles and dust. The project also includes the creation of new green areas and tree planting, complemented by an irrigation system to enhance the environmental integration of the space. Additionally, new LED lighting and urban furniture will be installed.
The new parking lot will offer a total of 196 spaces for vehicles. Of these, six will be reserved for people with reduced mobility, and four will be equipped with charging points for electric vehicles.
The budget allocated for the execution of these works amounts to 1,290,000 euros, with an estimated completion time of four months.
