The race, set for 8:30 PM, will take place on the eve of the Fiestas in Honor al Santísimo Cristo de los Remedios. The course will run entirely through the municipality's urban areas.
The 10k category will feature a timed final sprint segment, mirroring the traditional local bull run route. This special section will be measured only during the second lap, offering an additional prize for the fastest participants.
The Toro Run is open to participants of all ages, requiring parental or legal guardian authorization for minors. Categories range from Children (12-14 years, 5k only) to Veteran C (60-99 years, 5k or 10k), including Junior (15-17 years, 5k only), Senior (18-39 years), and Veteran A and B (40-49 and 50-59 years, respectively), both offering a choice of distances.
Trophies and gifts will be awarded to the overall winners, medals to the top three in each category, and a finisher medal for all who complete the race. Prior to the main event, at 7:30 PM, non-competitive children's races will be held.
The Toro Run is part of the Run Series 2026 circuit, which also includes the Cross de Sanse, the Women's Race, and the San Silvestre. Participants completing all four events will receive a collectible puzzle medal.
Registration, costing 13 euros, will remain open until August 19th at 11:59 PM, or until bibs are sold out. Interested individuals can register through channels provided by the Ayuntamiento de San Sebastián de los Reyes.
