Following the presentation, analysis, and evaluation stages, the citizens of Coslada have until September 15th to vote on the finalist initiatives aimed at enhancing various aspects of the city. This democratic process allows citizen priorities to shape municipal investments.
The Councilor for Citizen Participation, Elena Lebrato, expressed her enthusiasm for the process, highlighting citizen involvement from the outset. "We have heard proposals, learned about needs, and shared ideas to improve our neighborhoods and our city," she stated.
Lebrato encouraged all residents to actively participate in the vote, emphasizing that "every vote counts" and the goal is "that together we decide which projects we want to see realized in Coslada." Participation is considered fundamental to "getting involved in our city, thinking about our neighborhoods, and deciding what kind of Coslada we want for the present and the future."
The proposals aim to improve daily life, make neighborhoods more accessible, sustainable, and welcoming, and build a more inclusive city. Voting takes place through the platform enabled by the City Council, requiring a DNI to verify residency. Each participant has six points to distribute among the finalist initiatives.
