The festive program, set to take place across various locations in the city, will center around the fairgrounds of Parque de Andalucía. The celebrations will include offerings for all ages, from family shows to cultural, sports, and traditional activities.
The musical offering is one of the pillars of the festivities, with eleven concerts scheduled, primarily at the fairgrounds. Among the artists and groups performing are Dj Pulpo, the orchestra París de Noia, Raya Real, Hermanos Martínez, Melón Diesel, Despistaos, and Juan Magán, in addition to various tribute acts. Plaza del Pueblo will also host performances, such as the show Coplas de la España mía and orchestra concerts.
The festivities will be complemented by a pilgrimage in the Pinar de San Isidro, zarzuela, parades, fireworks, and the traditional distribution of rosquillas. The fairgrounds have undergone organizational and technical improvements, including three large screens on the main stage, a unified sound system in the booths, and expanded spaces to facilitate evacuation. Fire-retardant materials have also been incorporated in sensitive areas, and the Local Police module in the attractions area has been consolidated, along with new services such as a nursing area and adapted restrooms. As a novelty, a competition will be held to choose the best fair tapa.
Family Day will be a central event, with children's shows and cultural activities. A free popular paella with 1,200 servings will be a highlight, accompanied by entertainment and parades. Workshops, children's games, Local Police demonstrations, and recycling-related activities will also take place.
“"The security operation will involve over 100 Local Police officers daily, performing approximately 1,300 services during the festivities."
The City Council has designed a special security operation with over a hundred daily Local Police officers, coordinated with agents from the National Police and Civil Protection. This deployment will include surveillance cameras in high-traffic areas, specialized units such as the canine unit and the gender violence group, and a mobile citizen service office. Additionally, identification bracelets will be distributed to minors to prevent them from getting lost. The cleaning operation will involve 33 workers and 123 containers for selective waste collection, with reinforcements during peak hours.
