The National Museum of Natural Sciences (MNCN-CSIC) in Madrid has launched the workshop 'Connecting Neurons', designed for students in 3rd and 4th year of Secondary Education and Baccalaureate to explore brain function.

Students will become neuroscientists to investigate and experiment, tackling challenges inspired by the work of Ramón y Cajal. Through these activities, they will understand information transmission between neurons and how behavior and healthy habits impact brain connections, highlighting the importance of mental health.
The workshop lasts 50 minutes and is aimed at groups of up to 28 students. Sessions are offered from Tuesdays to Fridays, with several time slots available at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
The workshop fee is 150 euros per group, including museum entrance. An additional workshop is available for 90 euros. Reservations must be made at least one week in advance.
