This project, driven by Mercedes, a participant in the Rural Campus, and in collaboration with the Red Terrae Association, aims to preserve the knowledge and legacy of the elderly through their culinary testimonies.
The recipe book recovers dishes passed down through generations, many learned intuitively, such as Rosquillas, puches, migas, gachas, cocido, potaje, and lamb stew, flavors that are part of the collective memory and local history.
More than just a cookbook, this publication is conceived as a tool to preserve collective memory and pass it on to new generations.
The recipe book is now available for download on the Lozoyuela City Council's website.
Thanks are extended to all the elderly individuals who have shared their memories and knowledge, making it possible for these recipes to remain part of history.
