The Minister of Economy, Finance, and Employment, Rocío Albert, emphasized the importance of trust, stability, and the capacity to generate opportunities in investment attraction. These remarks were made during the closing of the inaugural session of the III Madrid Investment Forum, a forum organized by the regional government to showcase the region's competitive advantages to national and international funds.
The region has experienced significant growth, based on economic freedom, legal certainty, and public-private collaboration. These pillars have positioned Madrid as the fourth financial center in Europe and one of the major technological hubs in the southern continent, excelling in sectors such as aerospace, health, finance, and artificial intelligence.
To strengthen this strategic position, the regional government has undertaken promotional activities in key markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, and Asia. Additionally, Madrid Abierto will be launched, the first economic internationalization strategy designed to connect SMEs with global investors.
The III Madrid Investment Forum will continue with debates on Artificial Intelligence and logistics in Valdemoro, followed by sessions on health innovation, defense technology, and the reconstruction of the Sierra Oeste. The forum will conclude by addressing tourism, rural development, and entrepreneurship.
