Madrid Invests 3 Million in Childhood Vaccines for Measles, Chickenpox, and Hepatitis B

The Community of Madrid has authorized an investment of nearly 3 million euros for the acquisition of over 60,000 doses of childhood vaccines, aimed at strengthening the regional immunization schedule.

The Governing Council of the Community of Madrid has approved the tender for a contract that will allow the purchase of 60,500 vaccine doses. These will be distributed through the lifelong vaccination schedule, managed by the Ministry of Health.
Of the total amount, 56,000 doses are for the quadrivalent vaccine, which protects against diseases such as measles, rubella, mumps, and chickenpox. The remaining doses will cover other essential immunizations included in the childhood schedule, such as the hepatitis B vaccine.
