A fire broke out this morning in the garage of a single-family home in Pozuelo de Alarcón, prompting the response of four units from BomberosCM.

The blaze began around 8:45 AM on the basement level of the house, an area used as a garage and where numerous belongings were stored. The causes of the fire are currently under investigation.
The combustion produced a dense smoke plume that rose to the upper floors of the building. Fortunately, the three individuals inside the home at the time managed to exit on their own before emergency services arrived.
The Community of Madrid Firefighters acted swiftly, successfully extinguishing the flames and preventing their spread to the rest of the house structure. SUMMA112 was on standby as a precaution but did not need to intervene as there were no personal injuries.
As a result of the incident, the garage sustained significant material damage, while smoke affected the other floors of the residence.
