The Community of Madrid has announced an investment of 19.3 million euros to strengthen reinforcement programs in Language and Mathematics, benefiting over 23,000 students, while the capital prepares for a new edition of the independent book fair and Madrid Metro consolidates its role as a logistics hub for e-commerce.

This significant investment, allocated for the 2024-2025 academic year, aims to ensure the continuity of these educational initiatives, as planned by the regional Government through the Territorial Cooperation Plan. The measure underscores the commitment to improving academic performance in core subjects.
In the cultural sphere, La Casa Encendida will host a new edition of the independent book fair. This event will address crucial topics such as design, typography, publishing, and visual culture, offering a meeting point for professionals and enthusiasts in the sector.
Furthermore, Madrid Metro has implemented an innovative smart locker system on Line 3, transforming its stations into logistics points for collecting online purchases. This project, named Metropaq and promoted by the Community, simplifies users' lives and optimizes public transport infrastructure.
Additionally, the historic Jerez tabanco Los Gabrieles, located on Echegaray Street in Madrid, is set to reopen its doors on April 20, promising to maintain its original essence and enrich the capital's cultural and gastronomic offerings.
