Las Rozas has solidified its position as a key center for youth volleyball by hosting the MADCUP Volley for the second consecutive year, an event that combined competition, value development, and educational coexistence for over a thousand young people.

For several days, the municipality transformed into the nerve center of grassroots volleyball, with the participation of 100 teams and over 1,000 players. Approximately 200 matches were played across the infant, cadet, and junior categories, for both male and female teams.
Beyond the competitive aspect, the MADCUP Volley emphasizes the promotion of essential values such as respect, discipline, camaraderie, and teamwork, contributing to the personal growth of young athletes.
This year's edition featured prominent figures from the volleyball world. Among the ambassadors were Giba, a triple Olympic medalist and international legend, alongside national references like María Schlegel and César Irache.
The matches took place from Sunday, March 29, at various sports facilities in Las Rozas, including the pavilions of the Dehesa de Navalcarbón, Entremontes, La Marazuela, and San José sports centers in Las Matas. The facilities of IES José García Nieto and Gredos San Diego school were also utilized, underscoring the municipality's commitment to grassroots sports and the organization of high-quality sporting events.
