The Madrid delegation secured a total of 28 medals at the Spanish School Judo Championship, held in Palma de Mallorca on April 18th and 19th, earning runner-up positions in all four contested categories.

This outstanding performance highlights the strength of grassroots judo in the region, showcasing the talent of its young athletes and the dedication of clubs and coaches. The capital thus positions itself as one of the main nurseries for this sport at a national level.
In the male children's category, several judokas from Madrid won medals. Bronzes were achieved in the -42 kg, -50 kg, -55 kg, and +66 kg categories, while a silver was obtained in the -60 kg category.
The male cadet team also delivered a remarkable performance, with two runner-up titles in Spain in the -50 kg and -66 kg categories. Additionally, bronzes were added in -73 kg (two) and +90 kg, demonstrating the depth of talent in this age group.
Madrid's female children's judo reaffirmed its high level with three silver medals in -36 kg, -44 kg, and -57 kg. These were complemented by several bronze medals in -40 kg, -44 kg, and -57 kg (two), solidifying the female presence on the podium.
Finally, the female cadet category contributed two silvers in -44 kg and -70 kg, and four bronzes in -40 kg, -44 kg, -57 kg, and -63 kg. These collective results reflect the effort and dedication of all participants.
