This program, part of the Local Plan for Children and Adolescents, primarily seeks to facilitate family reconciliation during the Christmas period. The camp is designed for minors aged between 4 and 17 years, who are registered residents of Móstoles and enrolled in Special Education Centers during the 2026-2027 academic year. In exceptional cases, non-registered minors may participate if the applying parent or legal guardian proves they are registered or working in the municipality.
The camp will take place at the CPEE Miguel de Unamuno, located at Gran Capitán street, nº 19, on December 23rd, 28th, 29th, and 30th, and January 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th. The hours will be from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and single days cannot be requested. Participation is 100% subsidized by the council.
A notable feature of the camp is its nutritional attention. Under the supervision of a nutritionist, a menu adapted to each participant's individual needs will be offered, respecting possible allergies and different texture requirements. Additionally, at least one activity outside the school premises is planned, such as visits to the Planetario de Madrid, attending musicals, museums, exhibitions, or karaoke, all adapted for the participants.
The registration period to participate in “Diverconciliamos” will be open from October 5th to 25th. Applications and required documentation must be submitted in person at the General Registries of the Móstoles City Council. For more information or to download the necessary documentation, interested parties can access the link provided on the municipal website.
Through this initiative, the Móstoles City Council aims to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, fostering their personal development, self-determination, interpersonal relationships, social inclusion, and psychological and emotional well-being.
