The September ordinary plenary session in Aranjuez unanimously approved the transfer of two municipal plots to the Community of Madrid. One will be used for the construction of a high school in the La Montaña neighborhood, and the other for a senior residence and day center.

In the ordinary September plenary session, held in Aranjuez on September 30, 2026, two administrative land transfers were unanimously approved to cede plots to the Community of Madrid. These transfers will enable the construction of a Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, and Vocational Training institute, as well as a residence and day center for the elderly in the La Montaña neighborhood.
The proposal to transfer municipal plot P-507 "La Montaña" for the educational center received unanimous support from all groups. The need for public educational infrastructure in this growing area of the neighborhood was highlighted, noting that a subsidized school already exists.
Likewise, the transfer of municipal plot P-512 "La Montaña" for the construction and operation of the senior residence and day center was approved. Jesús Mario Blasco, spokesperson for ACIPA, emphasized the importance of this infrastructure, which has been demanded for decades, and the Town Hall's inability to undertake it, thus supporting the Community of Madrid's initiative.
The plenary session also debated and approved other initiatives, including the correction of a material error in the former Sector VII of the PGOU, the update of the citizen participation regulation, and a proposal to find solutions for the families of the New Home Aranjuez Cooperative and the SEGIPSA properties in the La Regalada area.
Favorable votes were cast for motions defending the Spanish sovereignty of Ceuta and Melilla, and supporting the demands for non-university public education in the Community of Madrid. The construction of the Northern Roundabout of the M-305 to improve mobility in the La Montaña neighborhood, a long-standing demand, was also supported.
Other motions included urging the Community of Madrid not to apply the increase in the fire extinction and prevention service, and to join the State Single Pass Program for Madrid's public transport. ACIPA abstained on VOX's proposal regarding the defense of Ceuta and Melilla's Spanish identity, expressing doubts about the legality of some of their demands.
