The Velilla de San Antonio City Council has incorporated 17 new professionals to strengthen its departments and public services for eight months, as part of an employment program subsidized by the Community of Madrid.

The council has welcomed 17 male and female workers who will join various municipal areas to optimize the daily functioning of the town. This initiative is part of the Public Employment-Training Program for Professional Activation 2026, funded by the Community of Madrid.
The new hires, with a duration of eight months, have been assigned according to the specific needs of each service. The team includes a librarian, a trainer, an assistant for libraries and archives, two administrative assistants, two service assistants-caretakers, two painters, four building maintenance workers, two bricklayers, and two childcare providers.
The mayor of Velilla de San Antonio, Antonia Alcázar, along with the Councilor for Citizen Security, officially welcomed the participants to wish them success in this professional stage.
