The Móstoles City Council has organized for the second consecutive year a day of literary fragment readings at the City Museum, on the occasion of Book Day, to promote culture among its citizens.

The activity, named Emociona-Mos, is an initiative by the Department of Contracting, Seniors and Social Welfare. Its main goal is to encourage reading habits among elderly people and other community groups. Participants have the opportunity to share literary texts of their choice, explaining beforehand the reasons for their selection and the personal and emotional meaning the work holds for them.
The event was attended by the mayor of Móstoles, members of the Municipal Corporation, the president of the Seniors' Board of Directors, as well as representatives from various associations and socio-health entities. The day was open to the participation of all citizens interested in reading.
The reading sessions took place between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM in the multipurpose room on the first floor of the City Museum, located at Andrés Torrejón Street, 5.

"This year we repeat this initiative to promote reading through fragments of literary works to celebrate Book Day in a different way, opening the range to all universal Literature."
