The Orquesta Panorama delivered a show lasting over three hours, featuring nearly 200 songs in a 180-degree spectacle with fire, confetti, and over 23 musicians and dancers who energized the attendees.
In the morning, entire families enjoyed the parade of Giants and Big-Heads, a revived tradition that included the participation of the San José de Valderas Association and the Galapagar Animation Group, along with local brass bands.
The festivities will continue until October 12th with a diverse musical lineup featuring artists such as Juan Magán, Mägo de Oz, Siempre Así, Fangoria, Nancys Rubias, Paula Mattheus, and Besmaya, among others.
On Wednesday the 7th, the opening speech will be delivered by volunteers from Protección Civil de Leganés at the Plaza de San Nicasio, followed by a tribute to Joaquín Sabina by Keny Castellanos.
On Thursday the 8th, musical performances will begin at the Fairgrounds with the Gala ‘Cerca de las Estrellas’, featuring artists like Lys Pardo and Los Brincos.
On Friday the 9th, Juan Magán, an international reference in electrolatino music, will perform, followed by the ‘Aura Show’ by Juan Peña.
Saturday the 10th is dedicated to San Nicasio Rock, with performances by Kamikazes, Barracuda, Leize, and the iconic band Mägo de Oz as the headliner.
On Sunday the 11th, Siempre Así, Nancys Rubias led by Mario Vaquerizo, and Fangoria, with Alaska and Nacho Canut, will take the stage.
On Monday the 12th, the musical performances will conclude with Paula Mattheus and the duo Besmaya.
In addition to music, the 48th San Nicasio Popular Race will be held on Sunday the 11th, and on Monday the 12th, there will be a popular paella distribution and a performance by the Orquesta Crystal.
Religious celebrations include a floral offering on Saturday the 10th and the High Mass and procession on Sunday the 11th in honor of the patron saint.
