The San Martín de la Vega City Council and the six AMPAs of the municipality's educational centers formalized the collaboration agreements for the current year on Thursday, August 27. This initiative consolidates a joint working line and will allocate a total of 6,000 euros to mothers' and fathers' associations.
The main novelty this year is the significant increase in the municipal financial contribution. Each AMPA will receive 1,000 euros, representing a 150% increase compared to the 400 euros from the previous year.
“"Last year we took a first step by launching these agreements and we committed to them not being a one-off. This year we are not only maintaining them but significantly increasing their amount, because we know the work our AMPAs do and we want to continue supporting them."
This aid can be used for various actions, such as purchasing school supplies and books, financing cultural and recreational activities, and projects aimed at improving educational centers, thereby benefiting all students.
The agreements also include the advance payment of 100% of the subsidy, ensuring that associations have the necessary resources for their planned activities. With this initiative, the City Council continues to strengthen its collaboration with the municipality's educational associative fabric and fulfills its commitment to progressively increase the amounts allocated to AMPAs, rising from approximately 2,500 euros in 2025 to 6,000 euros in 2026.
