The Carlos III University of Madrid will participate in the eleventh edition of the Pint of Science festival, taking place from May 18 to 20 in various bars across Leganés and the capital.

The event aims to democratize scientific knowledge through relaxed talks in everyday settings. In Leganés, the program will be hosted at the Bomber Cocktail Bar, with sessions starting at 6:30 PM and free entry until capacity is reached.
The opening day on May 18 will focus on engineering and energy. Topics will include the manufacturing of metallic structures for green hydrogen production and the application of origami techniques in soft robotics to create innovative platforms.
On May 19, the cycle will shift to aeronautics, analyzing how mimicking the flight formation of birds can significantly reduce fuel consumption in aviation. Finally, on May 20, the physics of personal relationships and reciprocity in social bonds will be explored.
Simultaneously, the capital will host sessions on biomedical imaging at the Moe Club, where the importance of new molecular imaging techniques for personalizing treatments for neurological conditions such as epilepsy or schizophrenia will be discussed.
