The Alcorcón Festivals extend their celebration to the Torres Bellas neighborhood, which will host various cultural and leisure activities. Plaza Jota Mayúscula, next to the Youth Center, will be the main stage for events including music, children's shows, circus performances, and urban culture expressions.
The program will kick off on Saturday, September 5th, with "Alcorcón Jamming: Barrio Cultures" at Plaza Jota Mayúscula. Organized by The Only Good System Is A Soundsystem, this event will combine music, skateboarding, culture, and urban art, bringing different facets of urban culture to the streets of Torres Bellas.
Tuesday, September 8th, will be the central day in the neighborhood. In the morning, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Plaza Jota Mayúscula will feature bouncy castles and activities for children and families. In the afternoon, at 8:00 PM, the CEIP Daniel Martín will host the circus show "Volando vengo" by the Kanhahiota Trup company.
Music will take over that same evening. Starting at 9:00 PM, local artists Jesús Caballero and Escandaloso Xpósito will perform at Plaza Jota Mayúscula. The musical closing will be by Hip Horns Brass Collective at 11:15 PM, concluding a festive day integrated into the overall Alcorcón celebrations.
In this way, Torres Bellas joins the Alcorcón Festivals with a program that aims to bring the celebration to the neighborhoods, offering a variety of disciplines ranging from skateboarding and urban art to circus and live music.
