Pinto Volleyball Team Promoted to New Superliga 2 Oro

The Grupo Egido Voleibol Pinto is preparing to compete in the newly created Superliga 2 Oro, a category that, while representing a sporting advancement, will require considerable economic effort due to increased travel costs.

After failing to achieve direct promotion to the Superliga, the Pinto club will join this new division, positioned between the Superliga and Superliga 2 Plata. This restructuring of Superliga 2 aims to optimize the competition and the level of participating teams.
The Superliga 2 Oro will consist of twelve teams, including the top four classified teams from each of the three groups of the previous Superliga 2. The spots left by teams promoted to Superliga will be filled by those relegated from the top category.
One of the main novelties of this category is the elimination of the geographical proximity criterion, as a single national group will be formed. This change will lead to a substantial increase in travel expenses for the clubs.
The Club Voleibol Pinto is aware of this budget increase and is already working to secure support from sponsors and institutions, with a particular focus on collaboration from the City Council, to cover these additional costs without compromising the team's sporting potential.
