The Pinto City Council has given the green light to the 2026-2027 Economic and Financial Plan, a key technical document for management and compliance with spending rules.

The Plenary Session of the Pinto City Council has approved the 2026-2027 Economic and Financial Plan, prepared by the Municipal Audit Office. This technical management document aims to comply with the spending rule required of all public administrations. The approval received a favorable vote from the Government of the Partido Popular and Pinto Avanza, with the support of Vox, while PSOE, Más Madrid, and Unidas Pinto-Podemos voted against it.
This Plan responds to the execution of 11,133,498.29 euros in investments during the past year, 2025. These investments were made possible by the completion of projects such as Pinto en Verde and the Plan Centro, focused on the rehabilitation and revitalization of the urban center. Additionally, the works on the Isaac Albéniz bridge have been completed, and it will be available very soon once the Sector 1 Conservation Entity concludes its part of the work in the industrial area.
Furthermore, the Municipal Plan for Neighborhood Rehabilitation has been launched, which will enable some thirty homeowner associations to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings. Last year also saw the implementation of the new municipal cleaning and collection service model, as well as the municipalization of the gardening service provided by Aserpinto, with the objective of achieving a cleaner and better-maintained city.

"The execution of these investments has led us to the Plenary to approve an Economic and Financial Plan prepared by the Municipal Audit Office. This will allow us to continue implementing the improvements that Pinto needs, without the necessity of taking additional measures."
