CEIM expresses support for Ceuta and defends its territorial integrity

The Confederation of Employers of Madrid (CEIM) has expressed its solidarity with the citizens and entrepreneurs of Ceuta, defending the autonomous city's territorial integrity as "non-negotiable."

CEIM has announced its support for the gatherings called for next September 2nd in defense of Ceuta. The organization encourages Madrid's businesspeople to join these demonstrations as a show of support, aiming to demonstrate that "Ceuta is not alone."
The president of CEIM, Miguel Garrido, conveyed a message of support to the citizens and entrepreneurs of the autonomous city, stating: "From CEIM, we want to extend all our solidarity, support, and closeness to the citizens and entrepreneurs of Ceuta during these times that we are all experiencing with great concern."
Garrido argued that "the territorial integrity of Ceuta is non-negotiable" and recalled that "Ceuta is Spain." Therefore, he considers the defense of its citizens' rights, as well as institutional security and normality, to be indispensable.
The president of the Madrid employers' association emphasized that "the people of Ceuta deserve all the protection, backing, and commitment from the State's institutions," demanding a firm response to the situation the autonomous city is facing.
