The Pinto City Council, with the support of CCOO, has reached an agreement to incorporate four new early childhood educators at the Virgen de la Asunción Municipal School, aiming to improve care and pedagogical quality.

The Government team of Pinto, comprising the PP and Pinto Avanza, along with the CCOO union, has formalized a crucial agreement for the Virgen de la Asunción Municipal School. This pact will enable the implementation of the educational pair model, leading to the hiring of four new educators.
The primary objective of this measure is to «improve pedagogical quality and personalized attention» at the center, with a particular focus on classrooms with children who have special needs.
The agreement stipulates that the upcoming modification of the Job List (RPT) will include a sufficient number of educators to facilitate this model, specifically four new early childhood educators. With this addition, the school will have one teacher and fifteen educators for a total of eight classrooms. Currently, the staff of the Early Childhood School includes a director position, one teacher, and eleven early childhood educators.
All positions are now filled following the recent coverage of a vacancy that had existed since 2022. Furthermore, in recent months, a pool of early childhood educators has been created to streamline staff coverage in cases of long-term absences or similar circumstances that might reduce the number of workers at the center.

"This line of dialogue is what we have been working on since the beginning of the legislature and what we will continue to pursue to improve not only the conditions of the municipal staff but also the services we provide."

the General Administration Councilor and head of Human Resources of the City Council
The implementation of the educational pair will be gradual, addressing a demand from municipal workers. The Education Councilor, Verónica Castellano, described the agreement as «historic,» resulting from months of work.
