The city of Móstoles is gearing up for a weekend full of cultural proposals, highlighting a varied musical offering with concerts at the City Museum and the Teatro del Bosque, complemented by cinema and theater activities for family audiences.

The musical agenda kicks off on Saturday, April 18, at the City Museum with a concert by the Coral Juan XXIII at 12:00 PM. Admission will be free, requiring prior collection of invitations at the cultural center itself.
That same evening, at 8:00 PM, the Teatro del Bosque will host a performance of Antonín Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 'From the New World', performed by the Orquesta de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (OUC3M). This orchestra, with over two decades of experience, will present an emblematic piece by the Czech composer, premiered in 1893.
The musical program will continue on Sunday, April 19, also at 12:00 PM, at the City Museum. On this occasion, the 'Clarinet, Oboe, and Piano Concert' will be presented, part of the XV Concert Series. The performance will feature students and professors from the professional music conservatories Rodolfo Halffter and Manuel de Falla, with free admission by invitation.
In addition to music, Móstoles has organized activities for the whole family. The 'Family Cinema' series will screen the animated film Captain Sabertooth and the Countess of Grel. Screenings will be on Saturday at 6:00 PM at the Centro Sociocultural El Soto, and on Sunday at 12:00 PM at the Centro Sociocultural Norte-Universidad and at 6:00 PM at the Centro Sociocultural Joan Miró. Invitations can be collected at the centers starting Monday.
Finally, on Sunday, April 19, the Canti Vaganti company will present the shadow theater show Pinocchio. A Delirious Story at the Teatro El Soto at 12:30 PM, a proposal aimed at all audiences that narrates the adventures of the well-known character.
