The Active Aging Week in Móstoles, organized by the City Council, concluded on May 30th with an Intergenerational March that brought together nearly 2,000 seniors.

The initiative, held between May 25th and 30th, aimed to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of the municipality's seniors through various free activities. The march, which started and ended at Finca Liana Park, was attended by Mayor Manuel Bautista, who emphasized the importance of these events in combating loneliness and fostering participation.
The program, driven by the Department of Contracting, Seniors, and Social Welfare in collaboration with other municipal departments, included environmental workshops at El Soto Natural Park, dance activities such as Just Dance, and a Dance Challenge in Plaza del Pradillo. A party-guateque was also held at the Móstoles Cultural Center.
Physical and mental well-being was another cornerstone of the week, featuring body and mind exercise programs, a sports day with a table tennis tournament, functional recovery sessions, and yoga, pilates, and tai chi practices. Additionally, a cultural excursion to Pueblos Negros and Cogolludo was organized as part of the senior visit program.
