The incident occurred around 00:30 AM near San Sebastián Street, a central point in Getafe. Officers from the National Police and Getafe Local Police, along with medical personnel from Summa 112, quickly responded to the scene after receiving the alert.
Emergency services attended to the victim, who sustained stab wounds to the chest and abdomen. After being stabilized on site, the man was urgently transferred to Hospital Doce de Octubre for specialized medical care.
San Sebastián Street is located in an area of the municipality known for the presence of so-called 'union flats,' an area identified with street-level drug dealing from 'narcopisos.' Although the National Police has not confirmed a direct link between this stabbing and drug trafficking activities, police interventions in the area are frequent.
In fact, last October, a police operation in this same area resulted in the arrest of six people and the dismantling of a dwelling used for trafficking and consuming cocaine and heroin. Months earlier, in July, another police action led to the dismantling of another 'narcopiso' and the arrest of five individuals.
