A total of 19 people have been arrested in a large police operation targeting drug trafficking carried out in the Community of Madrid.

The National Police conducted an extensive operation this Thursday against several locations allegedly involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics. The operation spanned the Madrid districts of Villaverde, Latina, and Vicálvaro, as well as the towns of Móstoles, Fuenlabrada, and Leganés.
Officers are set to inspect up to a total of 16 properties linked to the investigation. The highest concentration of searches occurred in Villaverde, which hosts the main cluster of properties under scrutiny, although the operation also extends to the other affected areas.
During the entries and searches of the properties, investigators found various substances including cocaine, heroin, and ketamine, along with products used for adulterating drugs. Several bladed weapons and a revolver were also seized.
The police operation remains active and ongoing this Thursday, meaning the final tally of seized items and substances may still change.
