The municipality will organize an orientation race as part of European Mobility Week 2026. Participants will tour the town using a map to locate beacons and complete a road safety education test.
This event joins a multicultural day aimed at fostering reflection, art, body expression, gastronomy, and community gathering. The initiative marks the first anniversary of Manzanares El Real's declaration as an International Zone of Peace Culture.
Other notable activities for this weekend in Manzanares El Real include the Feast of Cristo de La Nave, the Beer Festival (CervesFest), the Magic Party for children, a workshop on «Philosophers Erased from History», a water slide, and music.
Furthermore, the deadline for participating in the I Municipal Contest of Micro-stories and Illustrations for the International Day of Peace has been extended to September 17th, 2026. Participating businesses will be announced soon.
The cultural program also features the fifth edition of ManzaSwing, dedicated to swing music and dance, and the TAMERFEST 2026 Amateur Theater Festival, which will take place at Sala El Rodaje from September 26th to October 31st.
The City Council has also launched VerdApp, a voluntary service that rewards correct recycling with vouchers of up to €50 for local businesses, thus promoting sustainability and the local economy.
